We are also pleased to welcome to the Board Larry Crist and Garen Daly.
Larry has resided in Vermont since 1986, first living in Jericho, then Underhill and now downtown Burlington for the past 7 years. He originates from south Louisiana where he lived until 1974, when he moved to Boston. With a professional history including work in prisons, hospitals, government and the non-profit sector, in addition to consulting in the for-profit arena, Larry brings a wide range of experiences and education to the Board.
Garen Daly has been in the Boston/New England film scene for far too many years. His career started as a cinema manager which morphed into an operator for several of Boston’s better known art houses. He revived such places as the Somerville Theatre and the Dedham Community Theatre. He is an award winning programmer/consultant who continues to produce the Boston Science Fiction Film Festival & Marathon, the oldest genre festival in the country. Currently he sits on the Filmmaker’s Collaborative board of directors.
