Neil Brand and Jose Rincon discuss major milestones and trends in the development of the American movie musical from the 1930s to today through a series of live performances and film clips. Selections from The Wizard of Oz, Singin’ in the Rain, Moulin Rouge, A Star is Born and more!
This is a 90-minute session with the final 10-15 minutes saved for audience Q&A.
