Give a gift of appreciated stock
VTIFF is now able to receive stock donations! Gifts of stock (or a mutual fund, exchange traded fund, bond, etc.) are a popular way to give because as a non-profit organization, VTIFF can sell the shares of highly appreciated stock without incurring taxes on capital gains. The value of your gift is recorded as the value of stock on the date received. CLICK HERE for a form. In addition to your charitable deduction, capital gains taxes from selling the securities no longer apply.
Make VTIFF a beneficiary of an IRA, CDs, brokerage accounts or stock portfolios
