All festival attendees, guests, filmmakers, volunteers and staff must show proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 to attend the festival this year (physical card or digital image) at Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center. You will be asked to provide proof of vaccination immediately upon arrival at the Lake Lobby entrance. No exceptions will be made for any reason, including forgotten cards. If you are vaccinated and do not have a card, contact the Vermont Department of Health in advance of the festival to get a copy of your card. Note that festival passholders will be required to show their vaccination cards only once when they pick up their badge and lanyard at the membership table upon entering. Individual ticket purchasers will need to show their vaccination card each time they arrive.

Masking will be required in all areas at Main Street Landing, including the Film House and Black Box Theater. Receptions and parties will be held in the Atrium, with outdoor space available to eat and drink.

Please visit savoytheater.com for safety info specific to The Savoy Theater.

We encourage those who are not able to get vaccinated, or who experience any sign of illness, to take advantage of the festival virtual screenings.  Please do not come to an in-person screening if you exhibit any signs of illness.

Theater capacity for physical screenings has been reduced to encourage more physical distancing while viewing films. We encourage you to be respectful of others when finding your seats, and leave at least one seat between you and other parties. We also encourage all to wash hands frequently and/or use hand sanitizer, provided at the festival in many locations.

We also encourage our filmgoers to assist us in reducing lines and crowds at the festival by purchasing/reserving tickets to screenings in advance online. See “Ticketing” for more info.

No food or drink will be allowed in the Lake Lobby, hallways, Film House, and Black Box Theater at Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center. Receptions, parties, bar, coffee and snacks will be in the Atrium and/or outside.

We will be adhering to any additional safety protocols implemented by our venue partners, the City of Burlington, or the State of Vermont at the time of the festival. Due to the fluctuating nature of the pandemic, please visit our website for up-to-date information for each of our venues/spaces and events. Our goal is to keep our attendees, staff, volunteers and guests as safe as possible.
