This year’s block features animated films from the U.S., UK, Croatia, Germany, Switzerland, and Ireland. Across these delightful stories, a mischievous little egg creates chaos in a dining room (Shanley), a single dad pig moves his piglets into a rundown trailer park (Cardboard), a squirrel tries to save his stolen treasure from a flood (Lena’s Farm: Full Nest), animals and insects are drawn to a lamp deep in the jungle (Bats & Bugs), an unexpected houseguest helps a little girl reconnect with her family (Spooky), a newly arrived immigrant experiences his first winter in Chicago (First Winter), and a little piggy befriends a not-so-big bad wolf (The Big Bad Wolf). These audience favorites from the New York International Children’s Film Festival are sure to inspire the curiosity and imagination of audiences of all ages. ~OO
