Will the flood that caused so much damage in Vermont in July happen again, and what can be done to mitigate the danger? This special festival event will present a short video from Vermont Public depicting the damage of the flood in the Montpelier area and its impact on residents and business owners, followed by a panel of conservation experts from The Nature Conservancy, exploring what we can do to prevent it in the future.
The Panel will be moderated by Eve Frankel, State Director at the Nature Conservancy VT and with panelists Dr. Lesley-Ann Dupigny-Giroux, Vermont State Climatologist and TNC Vermont Advisory Council Member, as well as Lauren Oates, Director of Policy and Governmental Affairs.
The event is free, but all donations to this event will go to support the reconstruction of The Savoy Theater in Montpelier
