A documentary film portrait of the Mt. Philo, VT commune in the early 1970s.
This film was remastered and digitized by VAMP (Vermont Archive Movie Project) in 2018
Followed by Q&A with Bridget Meyer and other commune members.

2. Peace Train to Beijing

Directed by Robin Lloyd | Documentary | 30 mins | 1995
The WILPF (Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom) journey through Asia on their way to the Beijing conference. A fun and fascinating women’s “road trip” through towns and villages as they learn to live with each other on the train for several weeks. For many this was a feminist awakening and certainly the trip of a lifetime.
Followed by Q&A with Robin Lloyd

The screenings will include a reception (light food fare and cash bar) with an opportunity to meet and greet the people involved with the films.
