“Anyone familiar or unfamiliar with Fuller is lucky to experience his life’s work through this enthralling interpretation.” —Filmmaker Magazine
Can one person change the world? Architect, inventor, and 20th-century futurist Buckminster Fuller experimented tirelessly for 50 years trying to discover the answer. Drawing equal inspiration from TED Talks and Benshi film narration, The Love Song of R. Buckminster Fuller is a new “live documentary” from Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Sam Green (The Weather Underground). Accompanied by a score performed live by indie rock legends Yo La Tengo, Green narrates the film, exploring Fuller’s utopian vision that a design revolution could usher in radical social change.
Note:VTIFF members are invited to a meet and greet with Sam Green reception after the event.
