When Lisa and Giorgi bump into each other, it’s love at first sight. They agree to meet again the next day. What they cannot foresee is that an inexplicable curse will change both of their appearances before they wake. Unable to recognize each other, Lisa’s and Giorgi’s romantic hopes are set adrift in the Georgian city of Kutaisi. What ensues is a film that challenges the very act of looking and the art of attention. Told with whimsy and endlessly surprising humor and misdirection, the interrogative of the title is only the first in an ebullient examination of how we see and what we take from the experience. ~Travis Weedon
