Producers In Attendance
This presentation of previews from a national PBS travel and food series includes a reception. Scheduled for premiere in the spring of 2023, it takes audiences on a journey around the world to rediscover food in its natural environment. Along this journey, audiences visit exotic locations and meet a vast array of people changing the way we eat and interact with the natural world. The premiere episode is set in Vermont and features accessibility to local and organic food, unique landscapes, outdoor lifestyles and environmental stewardship.
At its core, Wild Foods is a show about agroecology, or the naturalization of our food system. It presents new ideas for environmental stewardship in an accessible and entertaining manner. Every show features host Kevin Chap, a Vermont-based environmentalist, writer and professional forager, gathering local and wild ingredients, meeting prominent members from the food community and preparing world-class cuisine with the help of professional chefs. The series looks to nature as inspiration for developing new approaches to regenerative agriculture, indigenous wisdom, sustainability and personal relationship to nature. ~ The producers
