Welcome to the 4th edition of the Made Here Film Festival!

MHFF, a co–production of VTIFF and Vermont Public, is a festival of films from New England and Québec, bringing our film community to the world and supporting regional filmmakers.

We had 127 submissions to the festival this year, all of which were watched by our jury of eight film lovers or creators from the region. The jury selected 42 films of all styles, genres and regions. New this year is the addition of special film industry related panels and workshops.

Our host sponsor is the Burlington Beer Co, whose beautiful red brick building has roots in another “made here” venture – the original factory built by French cinema pioneers, the Lumière Brothers, who developed their unique Autochrome photographic color plates here between 1901 and 1911. Screenings and panels will be held in BBCO’s new Lumière Hall with its own side entrance, greeting area and bar. We are also grateful to other sponsors of the festival.

Made Here Film Festival does not impose a fixed price ticket – please pay as you can. We have pledged to share a portion of your donations with the filmmakers.
